Ultrasound Services in Toronto

Toronto Ultrasound Imaging is a diagnostic ultrasound clinic in Toronto located at 180 Bloor Street West, Suite 204, in the heart of downtown. Our team provides a full range of general, musculoskeletal (MSK) and obstetric ultrasound examinations, using high-resolution digital ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images for your doctor.

Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves, not radiation, to create real-time images of organs, blood vessels, soft tissues and pregnancy. It is a safe, non-invasive test that helps doctors diagnose and monitor many conditions.

General ultrasound services

We perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound, including:

Musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound

We provide musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSK ultrasound) for joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments, including:

  • Shoulder
  • Elbow and forearm
  • Wrist and hand, including carpal tunnel region
  • Hip, hip joint, and thigh
  • Knee and hamstring
  • Calf, ankle and foot
  • Achilles tendon and plantar fascia

MSK ultrasound is often used to investigate pain, swelling, sports injuries and suspected tendon or ligament tears. It shows soft tissues in real time and allows for dynamic scanning while you move the joint.

  • Whether your referral is suitable for same-day scanning
  • What preparation is required for your specific ultrasound
